2nd Annual Aruba Animal Rescue Mission

Wanderlust Jetsetter Field Trip

Wanderlust Jetsetter is hosting our second field trip! By combining our travel planning skills with the needs of several organizations we are teaming up to do something fun, informative, and life changing for both you and animals in need! This trip is aimed towards volunteering with animal rescue groups on the island of Aruba. Attendees will be encouraged to post about their experience on social media, organize their own mini fundraisers before arrival and also transport adopted animals on their flight home if need be.

Some of the activities will include:

  • Meeting with and volunteering at several foundations and rescues across the island like Sgt Peppers FriendsCrijojo TrappersLuna Foundation & Nine Lives.
  • Walking adoptable dogs on the beach. The purpose of this is to raise awareness to tourists, and potentially get some of those dogs adopted!
  • Learning about the overpopulation on the island and around the world while socializing with rescued animals.

You will be given a list of supplies needed at a later time and asked to fundraise on your own prior to arrival.

Hotel accommodations provided by Costa Esmeralda. Located just 1 mile away from Aruba's Palm Beach, this apartment style hotel will make your Aruba experience enjoyable and unforgettable.

All general spending money and food would be at your discretion. There will be free time set aside for beach activities and fun. You are welcome to extend your stay beyond the required dates at an additional cost. An exact itinerary and even more details will be given at a later time and upon approval of your application. Anyone 18 and older is welcome! See application below.
